Job Description

Position Title: CNC Lathe Machinist

Wage: $25.00 - $29.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm (Monday - Friday)

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with lathe experience to join a fast-paced, high-production manufacturing environment in Cypress, TX. This role is ideal for a motivated, hands-on individual who is comfortable operating multiple machines while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. Apply now!

CNC Lathe Machinist Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC lathes in a production environment
- Run multiple machines simultaneously (not a one-operator/one-machine setup)
- Load and unload parts from machines and workstations
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
- Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals
- Move throughout the shop floor to monitor machines and workflow

Requirements for CNC Lathe Machinist:
- Experience operating CNC machines, with a focus on lathes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Dependable, motivated, and able to meet production demands
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Experience working in automated or high-efficiency machining environments preferred
- Experience with composite materials; fiberglass a plus
