Mechanical assembler

Are you a hands-on professional ready to build a career? We are seeking a reliable Mechanical Assembler to join our growing production team in Riverhead. salary: $19 - $20 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings.
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to ensure precise fitment and functionality.
• Perform basic math calculations to verify measurements and material dimensions.
• Conduct quality checks on finished assemblies to ensure they meet company standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven background in mechanical assembly or a related manufacturing field.
• Expertise in using hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, torque tools).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly diagrams.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

The essential functions of this role include:

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
