Job Description
As a TIG Welding Fabricator, you'll be expected to learn and maintain a wide range of skills that will directly impact the quality, safety, and performance of the work we deliver to our customers. At Republic Anode Fabricators, we require that our welders be able to process a job from start to finish. From saw cutting, to fitting, to grinding, to welding, every fabricator at RAF will be asked to contribute in all phases of the process.
Job Details:
Perform high-quality TIG welding on titanium, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals according to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper settings for material type and thickness.
Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance, making adjustments as needed to meet exacting standards.
Collaborate with our other fabricators, machinists and support staff.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
Troubleshoot welding issues and recommend process improvements for efficiency and quality.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Required Experience:
Proven TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. (3-5 years stainless-steel sheet metal welding)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing flawless work.
Familiarity with welding safety standards and best practices.
Certification in TIG welding (preferred but not required).
A steady hand, a sharp eye, and pride in your craft
