Job Description

Performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. Work involves most of the following: installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from schematics, blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments. Position requires rotating shift schedule in support of 24hr x 7d facility. Secondary responsibilities installation of communications components and cabling infrastructures and other construction trades as deemed necessary. Other duties as assigned Starting Salary Rate: $30.00/hour to $40.00/hour + Fringe $4.98/hour

Basic Job Requirements

High school diploma / GED equivalent A minimum of 42 months verifiable, directly related work experience, typically as Electrician Helper / Apprentice with 2 years performed under a Journeyman or Master Electrician, is required.

Other Job Requirements

Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Journeyman's Electrical License U.S. Citizen Must demonstrate basic computer knowledge (I.e., ability to use email, internet, Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel, to effectively conduct company business on the program). Some positions may require an increased level of computer knowledge, depending on the required duties of the position
