We are seeking a skilled CNC Horizontal Mill Machinist to join our client's dynamic team in De Pere, WI. $24-34 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC horizontal milling machines according to specifications and engineering drawings.
Produce small order parts in a JOB SHOP environment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations.
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
Proven experience as a CNC machinist, specifically with horizontal milling machines.
Proven experience in a JOB SHOP environment where each part is different
Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
