Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic

Pay: $36–$42/hr (based on experience)

Shifts Available: 2nd (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) | 3rd (11:00 PM–7:00 AM)

What we’re looking for (must-haves)

• Journeyman-level maintenance mechanic experience

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting background

• Experience with rotating equipment

• Skilled in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication

• Able to read and work from blueprints and mechanical drawings

• Basic electrical wiring knowledge for industrial equipment

• Comfortable working at heights, climbing stairs, and performing physical work

• Strong safety mindset and dependable attendance

Work environment

• Industrial manufacturing setting

• Standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and hands-on mechanical work

• PPE required (safety boots, protective equipment)

• Fast-paced environment with high expectations for uptime and safety

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of University Park, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
