2nd shift - Maintenance Technician

Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Wage: $25.52 per hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 2:45pm-10:45pm (Mon-Fri)

QPS Employment Group has a great Maintenance Technician position available at a company in Wentzville, MO. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. 

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform a variety of work in maintenance repairs of the building including fixing leaky faucets, replacing light bulbs, and preparing various surfaces for painting.
- Minor mechanical repair may include air tool repairs; make up airlines, hanging signs, fans and/or other equipment throughout interior of plant.
- Ensure the highest degree of sanitation and housekeeping is maintained.
- Report any issues to production manager
- Keep log of all repairs and work completed for the day, plus preventative maintenance, documenting hours of equipment.
- Air compressor, company tools, pumps, paint system equipment, air supply maintained to company standards.
- Ensure all rodent control systems are operating effectively in the warehouse and office.
- Perform daily, monthly, quarterly, bi-yearly, and yearly maintenance audits.
- Other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- Effective use of a variety of hand and power tools is required, requires own tools.
- Organized, detail oriented.
- Fall prevention training is an asset.
- Experience in maintenance within an automotive environment is an asset, knowledge of hydraulics or plastics a definite asset.
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Must be meeting standards of current position.
