Welder Fabricator
Pay: $24.00/hour
Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday, overtime/weekends as needed
Location: Indiana, Hammond

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Welder Fabricator for our industrial manufacturing client in Hammond, IN to start immediately at $24.00/hr. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!

Responsibilities

Fabricate steel molds, forms, and frames for refractory products
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and templates
Perform MIG welding and occasional stick welding on structural steel, rebar, and anchors
Operate cutting, grinding, and forming tools including acetylene torch, band saw, and hand grinders
Conduct quality checks on welds and final fit
Assist with custom fabrication, jig creation, and shop improvements
Maintain clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

2+ years of welding and fabrication experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
Proficient in MIG welding; stick welding a plus
Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills
Ability to lift 40+ lbs, stand long periods, and perform physical shop work
High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver's license required

Skills

Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW / MIG)
Welding and fabrication techniques
Blueprint and shop drawing interpretation
Use of cutting, grinding, and forming tools
Quality inspection
