Press Operator

PrideStaff is seeking a full-time Press Operator for an opportunity at a facility in East Canton, OH. The Press Operator is responsible for the completion of customer product requirements on time and with the highest quality within an assigned area. This role requires maintaining an environment that focuses on the core principles of Safety and Compliance, Customer Focus, Respect, Integrity, Problem Solvers, and Teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operates and maintains all equipment to produce maximum production rates while adhering to safety rules and regulations, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Builds dye within specifications once trained.
Recognizes the difference between products that pass and fail quality standards.
Trains to troubleshoot common issues.
Performs routine checks of equipment and maintains logs.
Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean workplace.

Job Requirements

One (1) year of heavy-duty industrial machinery experience.
Kiln, Press, or Extrusion experience.

Physical Requirements (With or Without Reasonable Accommodation)

Must be able to squat, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand and work up to a 10-hour day in a non-climate-controlled facility.
Willing and able to work in an environment that can be hot, humid, dusty, and noisy.

Preferred Skills and Experience

High School Diploma or GED.
Two (2) or more years of manufacturing experience.
Press or extrusion experience.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.00 - $21.00
