A&P Mechanic – Van Nuys, CA

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with general aviation or corporate aircraft, and a commitment to safety and high‑quality maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on aircraft

• Troubleshoot and repair airframe, engine, and avionics issues

• Complete inspections in accordance with FAA regulations

• Maintain accurate documentation and logbook entries

• Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards

Requirements

• Valid FAA A&P License

• 2+ years of relevant aviation maintenance experience (preferred)

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Fernando, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $55.00/hr.
