Join Our Team as a CNC Machining Specialist!
We are excited to announce immediate openings for experienced CNC Machinists to join our Machining Department. We are looking for dedicated individuals who can work any shift, including day and night shifts, as well as overtime.
Shift Details:
- Night Shift: Monday-Thursday, 8pm - 6am (including overtime and weekends)
- Day Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6am - 4pm (including overtime and weekends)
Competitive Pay: Pay rates range from $21.61/hr to $27.38/hr based on machining experience.
Our operations are housed in a heavy industrial forging manufacturing plant located in Midway, Georgia, and we are growing rapidly! As a CNC Machining Specialist, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Performing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) procedures, such as monitoring coolant and oil levels, cleaning filters, and changing chip bins.
- Ensuring proper setup by verifying that parts are flat on the banking surface, confirming correct program loading, and identifying surface finishes.
- Setting up and operating CNC equipment, inspecting parts, and handling hand tools for various general manufacturing tasks as directed by plant leadership.
Job Requirements:
- MUST be available to work all shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Overtime on Fridays may be required as directed by operations.
- Preemployment contingencies include drug testing, physical examination, and background check.
- Initial 90-day probationary period applies.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
- MUST be able to work any shift.
- At least 1 year of experience as a CNC Machinist or Machine Operator (with experience operating machines that cut metal).
- At least 1 year of experience using hand tools, power tools, and related machinery.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States—visa sponsorship is not available.
- Access to export-controlled items is required, thus employment offers depend on the ability to obtain access.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a machinist is preferred.
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience.
- Experience in a 5S manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with basic G & M codes (e.g., G0, G1, G28, M03, M04, M08, and M169).
- Ability to perform offsets is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Individuals must be prepared to:
- Wear standard protective gear such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
- Utilize computers and read work instructions effectively.
- Stand, walk, and manipulate objects with hands continuously.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying up to 50 lbs will be required.
