- Our client located in Carpentersville, IL is looking for a 1st Shift Maintenance Electrician to join their team! In the role you will Assist with leading projects, General upkeep of building electrical systems, Routine Inspection etc.

In this position, you will:
- Lead projects
- General upkeep of a building's electrical system
- Routinely inspect electrical systems such as wiring on facility and machines
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and maintenance problems and implement quality solutions.
- Repair, install, adjust or maintain machines and equipment.
- Fix faulty wiring
- Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions.
- Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Help maintain spare parts inventory.
- Adhere to safety standards
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Mechanical experience a plus.
- Proven work experience as a Maintenance Electrician
- Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code
- Skills must include problem solving, teamwork, and good communication.
- Must be able to lead a team
- Ability to act competently in emergencies
