This Engineering position can be filled at the Senior Engineer level with a competitive salary range:

• Senior Level - $122,400 - $154,000 annually

Core Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical knowledge to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
• Engage in hands-on consultation to identify and resolve system and equipment issues.
• Oversee task management for engineering challenges.
• Apply engineering principles to perform assigned engineering tasks.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of work, maintaining proper configuration management, and adhering to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes in the preparation of plans and specifications.
• Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and programs.
• Propose equipment solutions and innovative techniques to enhance performance, streamline construction, reduce costs, address design flaws, or comply with evolving codes and regulations.
• Be flexible in fulfilling other assignments as directed by management, which may include emergency response, departmental support, and involvement in outage activities outside your immediate department.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear), paired with 5 years of relevant nuclear or engineering experience.
• Ability to maintain access requirements or unescorted access as applicable and successfully pass medical examinations related to job duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer Registration.
• Advanced technical degree or relevant coursework in the field.
• We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
