Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Night Shift, 5pm-5am.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with experience in industrial maintenance to join our team in Antioch, TN. This role involves both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot PLCs, and will work on sensors, hydraulics, servo drives, motors, pumps, and conveyors.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

• Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.

• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, preferring Siemens or Rockwell Automation.

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on sensors, hydraulics, servo drives, motors, pumps, and conveyors.

• Utilize knowledge of Three-Phase Motor Controls and AC/DC Servo Drives.

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.

• Install and repair electrical controls, hydraulic pumps, and valves.

Essential Skills

• 7+ years of experience in electrical and hydraulic equipment maintenance.

• Ability to read PLC ladder logic.

• Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

• Experience with Three-Phase Motor Controls and AC/DC Servo Drives.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• No certifications required.

• Experience in a heavy industrial, non-temperature controlled environment preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is a heavy industrial setting focused on metal stamping for the automotive industry. It is not temperature controlled and can be noisy due to continuous operation of stamping presses. Steel-toed boots/safety shoes are required, and the company provides ear protection, safety glasses, and gloves. Uniforms are supplied and maintained by the company. Shifts include A (5am-5pm) and B (5pm-5am) with a $2 shift differential for overnight work, and future plans to transition to 1st, 2nd (2pm-10:30pm, $1.25 shift diff), and 3rd shifts (10pm-6:30am, $2.00 shift diff).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Antioch, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
