Are you a skilled CNC Programmer looking for your next opportunity? We are looking for a direct hire CNC Programmer for a valued client in Superior, WI. This is a full-time, first-shift position with competitive pay and full benefits. The ideal candidate has a solid background in CNC programming and manufacturing processes and thrives in a collaborative, detail-focused environment.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday | Hours set by manager (6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, or 8am-4pm)

- Develop, evaluate, and optimize CNC manufacturing methods, processes, and tooling strategies
- Create and maintain CNC programs and router databases by machine and product type
- Analyze job orders, blueprints, and specifications to perform calculations for manufacturing components
- Generate process routings in the MRP system for both current and new product lines
- Support production by resolving programming, tooling, and machine setup issues
- Participate in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Design and assist with custom jigs and fixtures
- Conduct time studies and cost analyses for process improvements
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production to ensure optimized and standardized processes
- Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of CNC shop employees
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and a 2-year Machine Tool Technical Diploma OR Equivalent combination of education and 2-4 years of CNC programming experience
- Experience in a CNC machining environment; tooling/process development experience a plus
- Knowledge of 5-Axis Machining preferred, but not required
- Programming knowledge (Mastercam preferred); Visual Basic or similar is a plus
- Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of GDT
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools
- Familiarity with Lean/World-Class Manufacturing methods
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
