We are seeking a precision-driven Laser Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the permanent marking, etching, and finishing of high-performance electrical connectors and components.
Equipped with industry-leading Trotec Speedy Series laser technology, you will ensure every part meets strict engineering standards for legibility and brand accuracy. This is a multi-functional role designed for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of technical machine operation, quality inspection, and hands-on assembly.

This is a multi-functional role designed for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of technical machine operation, quality inspection, and hands-on assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Laser Operation: Set up and operate Trotec laser engraving machines to etch part numbers, serial numbers, and logos onto various metal and plastic components.
- Technical Workflow: Load provided graphics/text files and adjust laser parameters-including power, depth, and speed-based on specific engineering requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous visual inspections of all markings to ensure 100% accuracy and legibility before the parts move to the next stage.
- Production Support: Perform essential parts preparation (washing/cleaning) and assist with light manual assembly and kitting of finished products.
- Precision Packaging: Securely package high-value components for shipment, ensuring zero damage during transit.
- Technical Aptitude: 1+ years of experience in laser engraving, CNC operation, or industrial part marking is preferred.
- Trotec Experience : Prior experience with Trotec Speedy Series or similar laser software is a significant advantage, though we are prepared to train a candidate with a strong mechanical background.
- Detail Orientation: Proven ability to handle high-value, sensitive parts while following complex engineering drawings and instructions.
- Versatility: A "team-first" mentality with the willingness to rotate between the laser station, wash station, and assembly bench as production needs shift.
- Reliability: Commitment to a consistent 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM schedule and a high standard of professional punctuality.
- Pay: $18 to $20/hr. (based on experience)
- Schedule: Day shift 8AM to 4:30PM - Mon-Fri with Sat as needed - Some OT
- PPE: Steel toes, eye protection
