Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a dedicated 2nd shift Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for executing mechanical and electrical preventative and reactive industrial maintenance tasks. The role involves working with equipment such as hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, bushings, bearings, gear sets, flywheels, transmissions, safety sensors, switches, and various other machinery components.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, bushings, bearings, shafts, gear sets, flywheels, and transmissions.
- Perform electrical maintenance up to 240v, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Occasionally handle forklift maintenance.
- Ensure all work is performed with safety in mind.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with motors, gears, and bearing systems.
- Use tools and equipment such as voltmeters and basic schematics.
Essential Skills:
- 2-5+ years of Industrial Multi-craft Maintenance Experience.
- Mechanical troubleshooting with a focus on hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Electrical troubleshooting from 12v to 240v AC/DC.
- Ability to physically lift up to 75 pounds.
- Comfortable working at heights and servicing equipment using lifts.
- Safety-conscious mindset.
- High School Diploma.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Mechatronics Certification is advantageous.
- Experience with plumbing and welding is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Rockwell Tester.
- Education in related fields or Journeyman certification.

Work Environment:
The work environment includes four plants that require support, housing older and extremely large equipment. The setting can be dirty or oily in areas and hot in others. Equipment varies greatly in size, with some being massive in length and others in height. Safety is a priority, and appropriate gear and training are provided.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mishawaka, IN.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
