Facilities Maintenance Technician I Job Duties and Requirements:

• Perform routine building maintenance tasks, including minor drywall patching, lock repair, ceiling tile replacement, and door hardware adjustments.
• Handle simple plumbing repairs such as unclogging drains, replacing faucets, and fixing minor leaks in sinks and toilets.
• Replace light bulbs, ballast, and wall switches; assist senior technicians with basic electrical troubleshooting (excluding high-voltage work).
• Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks, documenting work completed on systems like air handlers, filters, and safety equipment.
• Respond courteously and promptly to maintenance requests from staff and perform work while maintaining strict patient and public safety protocols.
