Job Title: HVAC Mechanic

Job Description

Join a dedicated team of professionals maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and operating commercial HVAC systems for a Research and Development office building located outside of Hartford. The position operates Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This role focuses on existing building units and is not suitable for those with construction installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate commercial HVAC systems in an R&D office building.

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

• Perform preventive maintenance to prevent equipment failure.

• Use hand tools effectively for maintenance and repair tasks.

• Address electrical issues within HVAC systems.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of HVAC service experience.

• Proficient in troubleshooting and repair.

• Experienced in preventive maintenance.

• S2 License required.

• Comfortable using hand tools for maintenance tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with tablets or CPUs to handle CMMS tickets.

• Strong team player.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Windsor, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
