HVAC Technician

Hiring HVAC Technicians in Southern, DE

Technicians will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of large-scale HVAC systems and equipment. This role is critical to ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our HVAC systems, which are essential for maintaining product quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial HVAC systems, including large compressors, condensers, evaporators, and other related components.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with industrial HVAC systems and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including proper handling of refrigerants and hazardous materials.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in industrial HVAC maintenance.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in industrial refrigeration or HVAC preferred.
• RETA, CIRO, or CARO certification most preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in HVAC or refrigeration maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems, components, and controls.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $85280.00/yr.
