Title: Laser Cutting Machine Operator

TRC is hiring immediately on behalf of our client, a global leader in industrial automation and advanced manufacturing solutions. designs and manufactures highly specialized automation systems used in glass production, building materials, robotics, and intralogistics worldwide.

Shifts Available:
• Monday–Thursday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

or
• Friday–Sunday | 5:30 PM – 3:30 AM

Pay Range: $25-$30 based on experience

What You’ll Do

Create and edit CNC laser programs using CAM software
Optimize nesting to maximize material utilization and reduce scrap
Interpret drawings, DXF files, and CAD models
Select appropriate cutting parameters based on material and thickness
Troubleshoot and refine programs to improve efficiency and cut quality

Machine Setup & Operation

Set up and operate fiber or CO₂ laser cutting machine
Load materials and verify correct grade and thickness
Install and align nozzles, lenses, and consumables
Monitor operations and adjust parameters as needed
Remove finished parts and perform basic finishing (deburring, sorting, labeling)

Scrap reduction
On-time production
First-pass yield
Machine uptime

Work Environment

Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
