Mechanical Design Engineer - Metal Fabrication

This is more than CAD work-you'll see your designs move from screen to shop floor.

Salary (experience-based):

• Entry-level: starting at $50,000
• Mid-career / SolidWorks-proficient: starting at $60,000
• Highly experienced / project leaders: starting at $70,000

What You'll Do

• Design vehicle components and assemblies using SolidWorks
• Support metal fabrication and custom manufacturing projects from concept to prototype
• Work directly with shop technicians to validate feasibility and ensure production quality
• Produce drawings and documentation for production and compliance
• Apply hands-on problem solving to refine designs and enhance the design library

About You

• Passionate about mechanical design and motivated by seeing your work built
• Proficient in SolidWorks with experience in design for manufacturing or metal fabrication
• Comfortable in a small, fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Organized, detail-focused, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Creative, resourceful, and eager to contribute meaningful engineering solutions
