What You’ll Do
Program complex parts using GibbsCAM for multi‑axis CNC machines
Set up and operate advanced equipment, including:
HAAS UMC 500SS (5‑axis high‑speed milling)
Puma TT2100SYYB (twin‑spindle, twin‑turret lathe with Y‑axis)
Doosan LYNX 2100LSY (sub‑spindle lathe with live tooling)
CITIZEN Miyano BNE65MYY (Swiss‑style turning with dual Y‑axis)
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturability (DFM)
Support quoting and time estimation using blueprints and CAD models
Conduct first‑article inspections and maintain tight tolerances (±0.0002”)
Design custom fixtures and select tooling to optimize cycle times
Mentor junior machinists as needed
Work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑precision environment
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of CNC machining experience
3+ years in a programming role
Strong proficiency with GibbsCAM
Experience with 5‑axis, multi‑spindle, and multi‑turret machines
Deep understanding of GD&T , blueprint reading, and precision metrology
Experince in aerospace, medical device, or automotive machining
Ability to work independently and solve complex machining challenges
Bonus Skills (Not Required):
SolidWorks or AutoCAD experience
ERP or quoting software familiarity
Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma training
OSHA or GD&T certifications

This is a Contract position based out of Shakopee, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr.
