Express Employment is hiring for a skilled Millwright for a manufacturing company in Cowlitz County.

WAGE - $32.05-$38.06 DOE

Position Responsibilities
This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing and making sure all machinery and equipment for the plant is running efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of gearboxes, pumps, pump assemblies, valves, tolerances, bearing fits and other mechanical equipment including screw conveyors, and rotary valves. Successful candidates must be willing to share a rotating on-call duty.

• Follow all plant safety processes and procedures, making safety the number one priority.
• Rebuild and maintain a variety of industrial pumps, including centrifugal, diaphragm, positive displacement, progressive cavity, gear pumps, and related equipment.
• Install, move, dismantle, assemble, and align machinery and equipment according to
  manufacturer specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble equipment parts and components as needed.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, lubricate, and repair machines, equipment, and components according to manufacturer recommendations.
• Install and repair basic plumbing and piping systems; assist with developing basic piping layouts according to industry standards.
• Perform welding and fabrication, including stick, MIG, and TIG welding, for repairs and
  modifications.
• Use proper rigging practices, including strap angles, load limits, attachment methods, hoist
  ratings, mobile equipment limitations, and safe tool operation.
• Help develop solutions to mechanical issues and support improvements in equipment function, reliability, quality, and productivity.
• Maintain accurate equipment history through work orders and check-off sheets, including
  troubleshooting notes, repair details, labor hours, and parts used.
• Participate in individual skill development through self-study and company-provided training.
• Participate in proactive maintenance activities as assigned by management.

Work Schedule:
M-Th, 4 10's, 6:00am-4:30pm OR
Tu-F, 4 10's 6:00am-4:30pm
Overtime as needed

Successful candidates must be willing to share a rotating on-call duty.

Qualifications

• Valid US driver's license required
• Experience rebuilding industrial pumps and gearboxes required
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Three or more years' industrial millwright experience preferred.
• Formally trained journeyman millwright strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift, climb, and work in heavy industrial environments.
• Basic Computer skills
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in reading, understanding and interpreting related forms and specifications
• Must be collaborative & support a culture of accountability and respect.
