Job Description:

As a Punch Press Operator you would be responsible for producing parts to meet specifications in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Producing parts to meet quality specification in a safe and efficient manner
• Operating the punch press machine in manual or automatic mode
• Understanding the operating sequence of the machine to ensure it is working properly
• Performing job set-ups to include, loading/unloading, programming, and making adjustments
• Quality checking finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: 12 months

• 1+ year of experience utilizing measurement devices
• 1+ year of experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• 1+ year of experience operating a hydraulic press (preferred)

Physical:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Skills:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Understanding of basic math
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
