Machine Operator/Forklift Operator

Adecco is currently hiring Forklift Operators and Material Handlers for a busy manufacturing and warehouse facility in Chili, NY. This role supports shipping, receiving, and production operations by ensuring materials and finished goods move safely and efficiently throughout the facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently.

• Stage materials and organize outbound shipments based on release information.

• Supply production machines with raw materials such as film, boxes, adhesives, glue, and paper.

• Remove finished goods from production lines and store materials using designated pallet locations.

• Label, organize, and warehouse finished products.

• Perform inventory counts and assist with monthly cycle counts.

• Receive materials and create labels using warehouse inventory systems.

• Safely operate forklifts, ride-on equipment, scissor lifts, and walk-behind pallet jacks.

• Recharge and maintain forklift batteries.

• Maintain a clean, organized shipping and receiving area.

• Communicate with team members to support daily shipping and production goals.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures.

• Participate in safety training and actively support workplace safety initiatives.

• Maintain a safe working environment while handling materials and operating equipment.

Requirements

• Previous forklift experience required (manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred).

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout a 12-hour shift.

• Strong attention to detail with inventory and labeling.

• Ability to work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed.

• Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
