Job Full Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Petroleum Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain petroleum equipment at commercial and retail fueling sites. This role is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Petroleum Service Technician

Pay: $20-$24/hr depending on experience

Shift: 1st shift Monday through Friday (7:30am-4:30pm)

Location: Birdsboro, PA

Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, and repair petroleum equipment, including pumps, dispensers, tank monitoring systems, and related components
Perform preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using testing tools and equipment
Complete service reports, documentation, and maintain accurate records
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
Travel to client locations as needed
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a petroleum service technician or similar mechanical/technical field preferred
Knowledge of fuel dispensing systems, tank monitors, and petroleum industry equipment is a plus
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
