Location: Watertown, SD
Compensation: $26.00 per hour - paid weekly
Schedule: 1st shift | Monday-Thursday | 5:00 AM-3:30 PM

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Cast Remelter workers for a metal manufacturing / die casting company in Watertown, SD. In this role, you'll support furnace operations and molten metal processing to ensure materials meet quality and production specifications. If you enjoy hands-on industrial work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and want steady hours with weekly pay, this could be a great fit. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a Cast Remelter:

• Operate furnaces and controls to melt, move, and discharge metal
• Draw and analyze molten metal samples to ensure material specifications are met
• Transfer molten metal into molds using ladles, pumps, or hoists
• Monitor temperatures, gauges, and metal flow to maintain proper furnace conditions
• Remove impurities from molten metal and inspect furnaces for defects or wear
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety rules and procedures

What You Need to Bring to the Cast Remelter Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, fumes, and moving equipment (PPE required)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive motions
• Basic machining, math, and measurement skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
