Maintenance Technician
Location: Casper, Wyoming
Pay: $25/hour
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a local manufacturing client. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to support safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment
- Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance on machinery
- Work with mechanical systems including bearings, gears, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and motors
- Diagnose and repair basic electrical systems (AC/DC, motor starters, fuses, relays)
- Use hand tools, power tools, welders, and diagnostic equipment (voltmeter, ammeter)
- Assist with equipment rebuilds, new installations, and plant shutdowns
- Support all departments during equipment breakdowns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- 2+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience (manufacturing preferred)
- High school diploma or skilled trades training preferred
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, maintenance systems)
- Welding and fabrication experience a plus
- English proficiency required
- Valid driver's license may be required
- Stand and walk for 8-12 hour shifts
- Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Climb ladders and work on elevated equipment
- Work in hot, cold, and noisy environments
- Wear required PPE
- $25/hour pay rate
