Position Title: Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator

Wage: $20.00 - $35.00/hour

Shift: 1st or 2nd

Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm or 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate multiple spindle screw machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
- Load bar stock and monitor machine cycles throughout production runs
- Adjust tooling and machine parameters to ensure consistent part quality and operational efficiency
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions
- Monitor and replace or reset tools as needed to maintain tooling integrity
- Complete production documentation and submit parts for final inspection
- Maintain equipment, fluids, and work area in compliance with 5S standards
- Adhere to safety policies, promptly reporting equipment malfunctions or quality concerns
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet or exceed production goals

Requirements for Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 5+ years of experience operating multiple spindle screw machines
- Ability to interpret blueprints and work instructions accurately
- Strong shop math skills and understanding of machining principles
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Dependable with a keen eye for detail and a focus on safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work mandatory overtime to meet production deadlines as required
