1st Shift Fitter

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Fitter to join their team. As a 1st Shift Fitter, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the production line. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: 1st Shift Fitter

Location: Brookfield, WI

Pay Range: depends on experience

Shift: 1st Shift (Full-Time)

What's the Job?

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using various welding techniques
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements
• Lay out, measure, and position parts accurately for assembly and welding
• Secure parts with bolts, clamps, and tack-welds prior to final welding
• Operate welding equipment such as MIG machines, ensuring quality and safety standards are met

What's Needed?

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Willingness to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols
• No prior experience required; training will be provided for the right candidate
