Entry-Level Millwork Carpenter

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, entry-level Millwork Carpenter to support a busy production shop. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in woodworking, cabinetry, or millwork. You'll work alongside experienced team members to fabricate and assemble custom wood products for commercial and residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the construction of cabinets, casework, trim, and custom wood components
* Read and follow blueprints, shop drawings, and cut lists
* Measure, cut, sand, and assemble materials to specification
* Operate hand tools and basic woodworking machinery safely
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Follow all safety procedures and production standards
Qualifications:
* 0-3 years of carpentry, woodworking, or related experience
* Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
* Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment
* Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Preferred Experience:
* Exposure to cabinetry, millwork, or woodworking projects
* Familiarity with shop equipment or CNC machines
Work Environment:
* Indoor, shop-based production setting
* Exposure to dust, noise, and machinery
* Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Pay: Starting at $17/hour (based on experience)
