Quality Inspector
We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to conduct detailed inspections and testing on metal fabricated parts, components, and instruments. This role involves using a variety of gauges and measurement tools to ensure product conformity. The position requires maintaining inspection equipment, verifying calibration, and completing all necessary inspection documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data input is essential. Maintaining accurate records to ensure traceability and addressing quality issues is critical. Additionally, the role includes providing quality systems training and assistance to production employees as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inspections and testing on metal fabricated parts using gauges and measurement tools.
- Utilize inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, depth gages, dial bore gages, and optical comparators.
- Maintain and verify calibration of inspection equipment.
- Complete inspection documentation for components and input data using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain accurate records for traceability and quality assurance.
- Provide quality systems training and assistance to production employees.
Essential Skills:
- 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 years of experience inspecting with micrometers.
- 1 year of blueprint reading experience.
- 1 year of quality documentation experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for basic data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- CMM experience.
- GD&T experience.
- Experience with optical comparators.

Work Environment:
This is a 2nd shift opening with hours from 2:30pm to 1:00am, Monday through Thursday. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday, from 6am to 2:30pm. The facility is a clean, climate-controlled medical device manufacturing environment with approximately 150 employees. The quality team comprises about 15 members, and the quality lab is equipped with computers, inspection stations, and a measuring devices room. Departments include engineering, machining, maintenance, assembly, quality, polishing, and warehouse. Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required on the floor, with plain-colored shirts and jeans/work pants as part of the dress code.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KENOSHA, WI.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
