Machine Operator

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Blending Operator to join their team. As a Blending Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Blending Operator

Location: Opelika, AL

Pay Range: $15.00-$15.50/hour

Shift: 5:45 AM - 6:30 PM or 5:45 PM – 6:30 AM, 12-hour shifts (2-2-3 schedule)

What's the Job?

• Check all ingredients for correct part number, lot number, expiration date, and quantity.
• Transport ingredients to the mezzanine area using a forklift.
• Charge the blender with ingredients following batch record procedures.
• Pull raw materials from the warehouse for staging and product accountability.
• Ensure cleanliness of blending equipment and room, disassemble and clean equipment as necessary.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
•  Pallet Jack Experience (6mths)
• Minimum of three months manufacturing experience, with knowledge of blending operations preferred.
• Manual dexterity and physical ability to work on feet for full shifts and perform repetitive tasks safely.
• Good communication skills to maintain logs, records, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
