Facilities Maintenance Technician

What you'll do...

Join Walmart as a Facilities Maintenance Technician! In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our Walmart stores by diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on our commercial equipment. You will develop preventative maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while conducting training for store associates on equipment care and cleaning.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct minor repairs to facilities, equipment, or fixtures, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and food equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality of all equipment.

• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules by providing accurate written and electronic documentation, such as expense reports, weekly summaries, and maintenance logs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years of maintenance experience.

• Possess a valid state-issued driver's license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.

• Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $19.00 to $35.00, depending on experience and other factors. Additional compensation may be available based on specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years of experience in a trade such as plumbing, electrical, or related field; or 5 years of practical experience in similar trades.

Valid Driver's License.
