Job Title: Brake Press Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking skilled and experienced Brake Press Machine Operator. In this role, you will operate a brake press machine to cut various materials for truck components, water treatment plants and other precision sheet metal components.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain brake press machines, including Amada break presses, Di-Acro machines, and manual back gauges.

• Read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints to produce components with tight tolerances using lasers, punches, and press brakes.

• Utilize hand tools, drills and other tools to complete fabrication tasks.

• Ensure precision in the manufacturing process by adhering to specified dimensions and tolerances.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating various brake press machines.

• Ability to interpret CAD drawings and blueprints.

• Experience in using hand tools in a manufacturing environment.

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in operating brake press machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be willing to submit to a b ground and drug screen

• Comfortable with lifting 50 pounds

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NORTH SALT LAKE, UT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
