A full-time, year-round opportunity for a mechanically inclined Service Technician to join a growing industrial equipment service team in Portland, OR. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, delivering high-quality customer service, and working in a collaborative, no-nonsense environment.

Technicians will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial cleaning systems both in-shop and at customer sites. The position offers consistent weekday hours (Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM), with no nights or weekends, and includes comprehensive training and support to ensure success.

Job Details

Title: Industrial Equipment Service Technician
Location: Portland, OR
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM (no nights or weekends)
Type: Full-time, year-round
Work Sites: Portland Service Center + customer locations
Training Provided: Shop training, online modules, ride-alongs

Core Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial cleaning equipment
Perform scheduled maintenance
Submit daily documentation (work orders, estimates, parts orders, etc.)
Interact directly with commercial and industrial clients

Ideal Candidate Traits:
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Professional demeanor and pride in workmanship
Responsible, self-starting, and team-oriented
Enjoys fast-paced, hands-on problem solving

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in 5 years)
Ability to pass a drug screen (including marijuana)
Non-smoking/vaping work environment
Experience with pumps, motors, HVAC, or AC/DC wiring is a plus
