Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment.
  • Support automation systems including PLC troubleshooting and programming.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize performance and aggressively pursue process improvements.
  • Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance using CMMS or related systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
  • Potentially work rotating schedules, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in steel mill electrical maintenance.
  • Demonstrated understanding of power systems and automation technologies.
  • PLC troubleshooting and programming expertise.
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics and mechanics.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and collaboration with operations.
  • dditional certifications or degrees in Electrical or related fields.
MUST HAVE:
  • 4 years of experience in industrial (or comparable) electrical maintenance, OR Equivalent education/military training (Electrical).
  • Must have at least a 2-year electrical or related technical degree OR military training in Electrical.
  • PLC troubleshooting and programming expertise.
NICE TO HAVE:
  • Prior experience in steel mill electrical maintenance.
  • Demonstrated understanding of power systems and automation technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics and mechanics.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and collaboration with operations.
  • dditional certifications or degrees in Electrical or related fields.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • Relocation assistance is subject to discussion.
  • ll hires are subject to passing required background checks and drug testing.
  • Projected Annual Compensation: $97901 to $124992 (not including benefits), plus potential for profit sharing.
  • Shifts: 4 on /4 off, 12-hour rotating schedule (days/nights).
