Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder to perform structural steel welding using the flux core process on I-beams, beams, and complex tube steel columns for structures used in 2 to 3 story buildings.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural steel welding using the flux core process.

• Weld on I-beams, beams, and complex tube steel columns.

• Work with beams and columns ranging from 3/8 inch to 1 inch in thickness.

• Utilize NR-311 wire, size 332, for welding tasks.

Essential Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in structural steel welding using the flux core process.

• Experience in performing production welds on steel and mild steel.

• Ability to read and interpret weld symbols and drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Nickel, Mig, Fabrication, Tig, and Fitting.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a steel yard that is mostly covered. However, some areas are open.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
