Job Details
- Position: CNC Machinist
- Pay: $28-$33/hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Environment: Climate-controlled manufacturing floor
- Set up and operate Citizen Swiss-type CNC lathes
- Perform G-code edits and adjustments at machine control
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Machine precision components using lathes, mills, and grinders
- Fabricate and assemble tooling, jigs, fixtures, and dies
- Calculate and set machine controls for production accuracy
- Maintain equipment through routine cleaning, lubrication, and inspection
- Monitor production to ensure tight tolerances and quality standards
- Recommend process improvements for efficiency and production optimization
- Support general manufacturing operations as needed
- Experience with Swiss CNC machining; Citizen experience preferred
- Knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with G-code programming and editing
- Strong math skills for manufacturing calculations
- High level of manual dexterity for small precision parts
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with commitment to quality control standards
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform standing/sitting tasks
