Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on refrigeration and utility equipment using hand tools.
• Ensure food safety and maintain product quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
• Respond to maintenance requests from various departments.
• Communicate effectively with team members and document maintenance issues.
• Record daily work activities in the maintenance management system.

Required Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently and follow job plans.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of refrigeration equipment.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in English.
• Ability to pass a physical examination and handle safety equipment.
• Familiarity with SAP for documentation and parts management.
• Able to work in cold environments (40 degrees or less) for extended periods.
• Proficient in using measuring devices and testing equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Capability to perform upkeep tasks related to facilities.
• Able to operate a powered industrial truck or qualify for a license.
• Willingness to learn about RETA certification and pass Ammonia Operator classes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a refrigeration-related field.
• Previous experience in production or maintenance roles.
• Experience in meat processing or food handling.
• Certification in refrigeration or power equipment operation.
