We're hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Bridgeton, NJ. What We Offer:

Job Description

As an HVAC Facilities Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform corrective and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair both facilities and manufacturing equipment. Your role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facilities and equipment, as well as working with various systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on facilities and manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of systems including HVAC, compressed air, and vacuum systems.
• Work with and learn to handle drives, bearings, seals, gear boxes, boilers, steam systems, and safety valves.
• Operate and maintain pumps, valves, electrical switch gear, motor control centers, and circuit breakers.
• Perform general repairs such as carpentry, drywall finishing, and tile work.
• Set up and operate various tools such as drills, saws, grinders, and pipe threading machines.

Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and basic HVAC knowledge.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Initiative to learn and grow within the role.
• General maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Completion of a tech school HVAC program.
• Ability to use forklift, boom lift, and scissor lift.
• Self-starter with the ability to follow directions.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime if necessary.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic setting around high-pressure steam, compressed air, refrigerants, vacuum, dirt, dust, latex, and wastewater. Occasionally, you may be exposed to wet, humid conditions and other outdoor weather elements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
