2nd Shift CNC Operator – Galesburg, IL Pay: $22.50/hour Shift: 2nd Shift Advance Services is seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Operator for a manufacturing facility in Galesburg, IL. Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machines to produce quality parts according to specifications. Load and unload raw materials and monitor machine operations throughout production runs. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances using precision measuring tools, including micrometers and height gauges. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and CAD designs. Calibrate and set up machines, including tool registers, compensation settings, and conditional switches. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor equipment adjustments. Troubleshoot machine and production issues to minimize downtime and maintain quality standards. Maintain accurate production records, machine logs, and quality inspection documentation. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications: At least two years of experience operating CNC machines, tools, and equipment. Knowledge and ability to produce high-quality parts while maintaining tight tolerances. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Proficient in taking measurements and performing basic calculations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
