Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Large Horizontal Boring Mill Machinists for projects located in the North Tonawanda, NY area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $34/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Operate and maintain large horizontal boring mill (LHBM) equipment

• Use micrometers, calipers, tape measures and scales to verify dimensions and tolerances

• Read and interpret engineered drawings and maintain specifications during machining

• Observe machining process and product quality to detect malfunctions

• Troubleshoot, adjust and reprogram machine controls as needed

• Sharpen and replace worn tools

• Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes

Requirements

• 8+ years of prior machinist experience

• Experience with Mastercam Software preferred
