CNC Machinist - Milling/Set-Up

Portland, CT.
1st & 2nd Shift available (Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm OR 4:30pm-12:30am) Additional 15% shift differential for 2nd shift
What would it feel like to operate CNC machines that create precision aerospace parts-where every cut, measurement, and setup matters to aircraft performance?

This is a full production CNC Machinist role. Only apply if you meet the minimum requirements - you must have real CNC machining and production experience.

What You'll Do

• Operate CNC machines to produce tight-tolerance aerospace components
• Read blueprints and GD&T to plan and execute precise machining
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools to verify dimensions
• Maintain equipment, production records, and quality standards
• Assist with setups and ensure consistent production flow

What You Must Have

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience (aerospace preferred)
• Strong understanding of GD&T and shop math (fractions, ratios, percentages)
• Skilled using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, depth gauges, and size blocks
• Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and reliable
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Setup experience is a plus

Pay & Benefits

• $25-$40/hour (based on experience)
• Additional 15% shift differential for 2nd shift ( Please note: 2 nd shift people will start on 1 st shift for anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, to get familiar)
