Job Title: Upfitter

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as an Upfitter where you will utilize your skills in assembly, hydraulic 12v electric systems, and fabrication to enhance vocational trucks as a final stage manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and instructions.

• Follow installation procedures and established standards.

• Accurately use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and squares.

• Perform hose and fitting assembly, routing, and plumbing.

• Conduct pressure setting and testing.

• Read electric schematics and assemble, route, and terminate wire harnesses.

• Set up and test electrical systems.

• Utilize various power tools such as drills, impact wrenches, air ratchets, and grinders.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in heavy equipment or automotive field.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of hydraulics and electrical systems.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.

• Knowledge of 12v electrical systems.

• Basic welding and fabrication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of wiring stop/start systems and ability to use a programmer.

• Familiarity with sizes of fittings and hydraulic hoses.

• Basic math skills.

• 2-5 years' experience in the field service of heavy equipment is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $72800.00/yr.
