We are seeking a skilled Conveyor Electrician to join our team working in an industrial manufacturing environment. This role focuses on installing, wiring, troubleshooting, and maintaining conveyor systems and related electrical components. The ideal candidate has strong industrial electrical experience and is comfortable working around automated equipment and production systems.
Responsibilities

Install, wire, and terminate electrical components for conveyor systems and automated equipment
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and layout drawings
Install and connect motors, VFDs, sensors, control panels, and control wiring
Troubleshoot electrical issues on conveyors and related systems
Perform system start-up, testing, and commissioning
Work with millwrights and mechanical teams during equipment installation
Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety protocols

Requirements

Experience as an industrial electrician or conveyor electrician
Strong knowledge of motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment
Ability to read electrical prints and schematics
Experience with conduit bending, cable tray, and industrial wiring methods
Familiarity with automated conveyor systems is strongly preferred
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
Ability to work at heights, lifts, and industrial environments

Preferred Skills

Experience installing or maintaining distribution, assembly, or material handling conveyor systems
Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation
Industrial maintenance or installation background
