Location: Southwest Indianapolis
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20.75/hour
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations in a light industrial environment. This role involves operating powered industrial equipment, handling materials safely, and maintaining accuracy in inventory processes.
Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move, stack, and organize materials
Use handheld scanners to track inventory with a high level of accuracy
Load and unload trailers as required
Perform inbound receiving processes
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse in accordance with 7S standards
Follow established safety procedures and quality policies
Support efficient and accurate supply chain operations

Minimum Qualifications

At least 1 year of warehouse experience
Certification in operating powered industrial lift trucks
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed

Physical Requirements

Frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally over 75 lbs
Handle materials of varying sizes and weights
Perform bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, pushing, and pulling
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Use hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment
Work in hot or cold warehouse conditions

Preferred Qualifications

Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Good communication with supervisors and coworkers
High school diploma or equivalent
