Forklift Driver

As a Forklift Driver, you will receive comprehensive training to adeptly operate a forklift for the purpose of moving products throughout our production facility. Your primary responsibility will involve following orders to pick up glass products using a forklift and transporting them to designated locations, whether it be a staging area for production, a storage area, or onto/off a truck for transport or shipping.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift to transport glass products to necessary destinations.
• Ensure production line has sufficient product supply.
• Move, empty, and reload racks as needed.
• Load and reload packers.
• Get on and off the forklift to make adjustments and wrap/package products.
• Utilize basic computer skills until system updates are completed.

Essential Skills:

• Forklift operation experience is preferred but not required.
• Material handling experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manufacturing labor or production is highly preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners and shipping/receiving is an advantage.
• No formal education required, but related experience is beneficial.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tipton, PA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
