What you'll do

• Lead and mentor shop technicians and mechanics
• Oversee fleet maintenance and repair for class 7/8 diesel trucks
• Diagnose and repair engines, hydraulics, electrical, and pto systems
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and shop workflow
• Ensure full dot, osha, and epa compliance
• Keep the fleet ready for 24/7 emergency response operations

What you bring

• ASE certification (master level a plus)
• 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience ideally in waste, industrial, or environmental services
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• Leadership experience in a shop or fleet setting
• CDL or willingness to obtain one
• Safety-first mindset and solid organizational skills
